Just Listen: Seeing Hands – It’s True

Seeing Hands

Words: Gary Feeney

seeing handsFollowing on from their recent debut single I Knew You, Newcastle quartet Seeing Hands have returned with their sumptuous sophomore offering, It’s True. Combining intricately weaved guitar lines with dreamy, harmonised vocals that drift over the melody almost like a lullaby, there’s echoes of 60’s acts like the Byrds and more recent contemporaries like the Coral in their Butterfly House period. It’s a timeless sound, but Seeing Hands have added their own modern twist to it, creating a track of shimmering, gentle beauty which bodes very well for their future.
