Just Watch: Young Romance – Pulling At The Grey

Young Romance

Words: Lewis Rogers

young romanceLondon-based two piece Young Romance have unveiled the video for their new single Pulling At The Grey, the first to be taken from their debut album Another’s Blood which was released back on 25th November.

The pair have described their LP as ‘quite a DIY effort’, and this is certainly reflected in the single’s lo-fi, fuzzy sound which gives the track a raw, but interesting and offbeat style. Paolo Ruiu’s distorted guitar is the perfect companion to singer/drummer Claire Heywood’s otherworldly vocals, resulting in a haunting and memorable effort that is sure to stick with you.

With well received sets at the likes of Dot To Dot festival, KOKO and Club NME as well as the release of their excellent Wild EP, Young Romance have certainly impressed so far and look set to have a very exciting future.

Another’s Blood is out now on Banquet Records.
