Just Listen: Honey Lung – Sophomore

Honey Lung

Words: Rebecca Worthington

Following the launch show earlier last week at Camden Assembly, hotly-tipped  Londoners Honey Lung have released their third single Sophomore and it’s a scuzzy explosion of shoegaze-grunge riffs, with a heavy pop-punk influence. Unlike last release Something, which, we first discovered at Popped Music through Flying Vinyl, Sophomore verges into screamo territory with the chorus sounding louder and rowdier than ever.

Honey Lung are being talked about by all sorts of people and we’re also proud to be jumping up and down about them and putting them in front of you too!
