Just Listen – The Americas – Come On Out

The Americas

Words: Cat Lewis

The rock trio The Americas are about to release one single a month for three months in the lead up to their EP launch on 7th September and I couldn’t be more excited. The first of which Come On Out is out today.

I have been a big fan of The Americas since seeing them gracing the stages at some small venues and then smashing their set at Isle of Wight Festival. Their smooth 70s vibe makes them the type of band you can play wherever and whatever the occasion. Come On Out is no exception.

Its catchy lyrics, effortless drum beat and melodic piano backing makes this the song for summer. I can just imagine festival season, sun shining, beer in hand and this blasting out in the fields.

Judging from this release, the EP, Guitar Music is Dead, is something to look forward to.
