Just Listen: Jack Vallier – Anyway

Jack Vallier – Anyway

Words: Nick Bewes

Jack Vallier is a new name to me, but is certainly a name I will keep an eye for in the future on the strength of his new single, Anyway. It’s the sort of song that if it was sung by a former member of One Direction, would be all over the radio. The follow up to Drink 2 U is another great slice of pop. He says that the song is about how he would always forgive someone despite knowing they weren’t good for me. Production wise and muscially this is a spot on, a very modern sound to it. He’s supported the brilliant Jade Bird and Dermot Kennedy on their UK tours and already appeared at The Great Escape, Field Day and Latitude Festival, so he is getting noticed by the right people.
