We love The Van T’s here at Popped Music. It’s pretty much one of the rules for being in our gang. However, none of us were ready for this latest release, Suis-Je Cool? It still has the energy and passion we would associate with Glasgow’s finest four-piece, but there is so much extra style in the heavily effected vocals and the sleazy-yet-grand guitar work. It reminds me of Orange Crush by REM but played by original-era Guns n Roses. It is a track you must listen to over and over because each listen increases your enjoyment at the ambition shown in this record. This is the next step for The Van T’s, and all it has done is increase the love for them.
