Just Listen: Banners – Got It In You

Banners – Got It In You

Words: Elena Katrina

There are times you hear a song and there’s an instant connection. Banners’ latest Got It In You is one of those. Lyrically it’s bringing something I felt I needed to hear and I know I won’t be the only one. When you’re having a dark time you need a little bit of a connection and if it comes delivered in a musical message then it’s all the more powerful.

The track itself has quiet moments, you can take that deep breath. The production is clean which allows for the message to be heard and then the vocals and the piano builds with passion and intent. It’s a beautiful message, beautifully packaged and, as ever, stunningly delivered.
