Just Listen: Tundra – You’re Welcome

TUNDRA – You’re Welcome

Words: Amy Butcher

As someone new to the band Tundra, it’s safe to say I was transfixed from the first moment listening to latest single You’re Welcome.

Opening with punchy guitar riffs and tight drum patterns, poignant vocals merge with the sounds to create the perfect grunge rock track. With a serendipitous bridge repeating ‘I don’t like you’ transitioning into what becomes a powerful eruption of heavy guitar melodies and fruitful bass lines, you’re left wanting more.

Having supported the likes of Milk Teeth, Marmozets and more, it is clear Tundra are placing themselves amongst some of the best new grunge rock bands in the music scene at the moment.

I for one am excited to see what’s in store for this trio in the future.
