Just Watch: Easy Life – Nice Guys

Easy Life – Nice Guys

Words: Amy Butcher

Leicester based five-piece Easy Life have given us a groovy, serene indie hip hop track ‘Nice Guys’, it’s everything I could want and more. Following the release of their single ‘Earth’ this summer, I’ve been dying to hear more from, in my opinion, one of the best up and coming bands of 2019.

Nice Guys’ opens with head-bopping beats, soft intricate guitar riffs and Murray’s nonchalant soothing vocals; I’m immediately transported into a calm, serene state. Whether it’s the smooth synths or addictive sounds, it’s when the saxophone really comes into its own where I’m fully enveloped in the euphoric aura their music exudes. After the announcement of a monster worldwide tour, including iconic venue Roundhouse in London, it’s safe to say Easy Life are on their way up. It’s no surprise they’re on my list of class bands that are really adding something to the music scene right now. They’re fresh, raw, authentic and I cannot get enough!
