JAWS – Anyway, Now’s Not The Time

Following the release of their third album The Ceiling, the indie rock trio are back with intrinsic, warm single Anyway, Now’s Not The Time. 

Opening with jangly melancholic guitar melodies, they are soon joined by subtle drum beats, clever bass lines and singer Conor’s lulling vocals. At first I assumed this was another classic indie bop from the Birmingham three piece, yet when launching into the chorus you’re led full pelt into heavier riffs, harsher melodies and a fresh, raw sound. 

I’ve always been a fan of JAWS ever since I heard Think Too Much, Feel Too Little, so I’m loving the natural progression this band has made and continues to do. In the midst of a UK tour this month, they’ve had an exciting 2019 and I’m looking forward to see what 2020 has in store.
