Brownstone

Words by Gary Lambert

If you have a ticket for The Big Moon’s Walking Like We Do tour, I would recommend that you get in the venue early in order to catch the tour support, Queen Prima.  The young, London-based band are the ideal act to warm you up with their sweet, harmonic vocals accompanying the laidback guitar which acts as good reason for people not to chatter to their friends.

Brownstone highlights the quality of the band beautifully, reminding me of an early morning June sunrise committed to three minutes of music.  The musicality acting as the alarm clock of birdsong whilst the combined singing efforts of Louise Macphail and Kristin McFadden provide the feeling of wonder that such a time of simple pleasure brings.  Prima Queen are a band who deserve your attention.
