I’ve been a fan of VALA for some time now, their sixties-infused dream pop never fails to brighten your day and put a smile on your face when listening; their newest single ‘Only One’ is no exception.

The first time I heard this funky number was when they released their Rain Club (Live) EP, what I loved then and again now is how you get lost in the twinkly guitar melodies and soulful harmonies – it’s a real treat!

Only One is a sweet, addictive love song and another absolute belter from the Manchester four-piece. Their sound is one you don’t really hear often nowadays and it’s nice to have a band continuing to give listeners something nostalgic and refreshing at the same time.
