Just Watch: VALA – It’s Alright When You’re Falling

It’s Alright When You’re Falling

 Words: Amy Butcher

VALA’st’s Alright When You’re Falling is a harmonious final instalment to their ‘Swimming Kit’ EP, and much similar to the other two songs from the EP, it has a refreshing twist on the Manchester band’s sound we know and love.

Compared to their older singles, these tracks have been fully self-produced, and that’s what makes this track, in my opinion, so good.
It’s raw, honest and rough around the edges; Joe Knowles’ softened vocals, the melancholic
drum patterns and dreamy pop guitar melodies come together to create a sweet-sounding tune, easy on the ear to its listeners. I’ve loved seeing VALA’s sound develop over the last couple of years, and they’re one to watch for sure.
