Just Watch: feeo – End Song

Just Watch : feeo – End Song

A few thoughts spring to mind when I listen to ‘End Song’ by feeo; phenomenal production, sweet soulful harmonies and addictive jazz chords. This is my first taste of the Oxford songwriter and producer, and blimey she’s made an impression. The track takes you on a journey of emotions, and it’s as if she’s created this time capsule of musical parts in one song, it’s clear a full story is being told in the four minutes.

Commenting on the song, feeo explains End Song is about the stretch of time just before the apocalypse. The calm before the storm. Like a waiting room. Everyone sitting around reading magazines, checking their watches.” This is reflected in the makeup of the song – you’re thrown into a dreamlike state as the different sounds, tempos and melodies hit your eardrums; this track is a piece of art.
