Sometimes you press play on a tack and you’re greeted with something so delightful, that something in your physicality changes for a while. Upon pressing play on Lost On You by George Cosby, I was pulled back deeper into my seat, caressed by a warmth of his vocal, somewhat soothed by those few wobbly notes on the piano.
Once the strings come along I’m whisked away to another place in my mind; I’m dancing a waltz-like dance (I mean I would be if I COULD, I’m transported to another place, a dark room, spotlight on just two people dancing, the ebb and flow the quick the slow, the spin. A deep sigh as Lost On You ends and I’m back in my reality, feeling emotionally changed for the better. Thanks for the dance George.
