It’s been 4 years since Marcus Foster released any music, at least under his music project, Seramic. Summer 2023 finally sees the time for his new release, “Ride or Die“. Seramic and the world are ready and this slice of delicious pop comes jam-packed with musical reference points, with twists and turns of mixing genres – something that Marcus has become somewhat of an expert at.
Take a stroll, a skip and a hop on and in between the beats that bring a fresh and modern twist to gospel and blues. Swirl and swing as you dance and sway your way through the verses and get ready to find your inner falsetto as you try to match the glorious high notes from the otherwise lower register that Foster delivers.
“Ride or Die” might feel like a light and airy piece of pop, perfect for Summer, but much like Seramic’s earlier work, this also showcases some seriously lush crisp production that is going to sound just as good once those nights draw in.
