Introducing: The Wild Mercury Sound

Miss Frost

The Wild Mercury Sound are all four young lads from London. Their names are Ashley Cooper (Drums), Benji Compston (Vocals, Guitar), Johnny Lillis (Guitar) and Jonny Allan  (Bass). With none of the members yet to hit their twenties the band are young and considerably talented, proving that age really isn’t as important as ability.

The band release their début single Miss Frost through Hearts & Minds Records on October 10th. The single also comes with b-side Itchy Skin, both tracks can be heard below. The single has also just won this a place on this weeks Rebel Playlist on 6music, earning them a play on each and every day time show this week.

As well as releasing their first ever single the band are also taking time to play some live shows around the UK at the moment and you can still catch them at the following shows (some of which are even free!):

16th – Liverpool The Shipping Forecast
18th – Hitchin White Lounge @ the Ivory Bar (free gig!)
22nd – Croydon Scream Lounge (free gig!)
24th – Oxford Jericho Tavern
29th – Leeds Milo

6th – London Barfly
