There’s hints at so much in this debut track, Vitamin C, from Clean Cut Kid. There’s an on off vibe of Band Of Skulls, there’s a riff that is reminiscent of earlier Kings Of Leon and well there’s also something quite Vampire Weekend going on too and quite a 70s rock feel. All in all it’s smashing it, although the space in the vocals I’m not so keen on but it works better when the music is fuller. Catchy as hell really and I love the sentiment behind the lyrics, an unusual take on a love song.
Vitamin C is due for release on July 24th.
