Listen to Something Like Happiness here:

the maccabeesThe Maccabees announce their next single from their forthcoming album, Marks To Prove It, the single will be Something Like Happiness.  It’s a rousing melodious cocktail that’s full to the brim. It’s not exactly overly slow in tempo but is competitively so, to their album’s title track. The verses are a warm caress toward a chorus that turns into a ballroom dance, sweeping your off your feel for swirling  and dips and the like. There’s a vintage and delightfully shimmery feel to the production which suits the lyrics perfectly even when they lean to something a little melancholy.

Something Like Happiness is released on July 31st.
