Just Listen: Department M – Bleak Technique

Department M

Listen to Bleak Technique here:

IDepartment Mn Bleak Technique, from Leeds Duo Department M, There is a perfectly executed social commentary bordering on paranoia that George Orwell would be proud of. The song uses a fantastic range of synth and bass, glam rock techniques, syncapation and androgynous vocals to deliver something notable and showing a lot of promise. The song doesn’t realise a full climax which fits with the narrative of the lyrics. It’s dark but far from bleak, this is a song that is powerful and will incite some passion into listeners
