2015 has been the year for the self-produced honey-voiced young man in his 20’s and Alex Vargas is no different, yet he is so different. Giving Up The Ghost is the latest single from the Danish lad who is selling out shows left-right and center here in the UK. The track opens up with syncopation and unexpected off-beats while his falsetto vocals ring through clearly and beautifully. By the halfway point the song has fluidity and a rhythm that will have you grooving and shaking. There is so much soul yet the electronic components keep it a very modern banger which will continue to be played leading up to his January 2016 EP release.
