Just Listen: Coast Modern – Hollow Life

Coast Modern

Listen to Hollow Life here:

Coast ModernWith sonic references to Tame Impala, Alt J and Milky Chance, Coast Modern (apart from having one of the greatest band names we’ve come across this year) are soon to be on everyone’s mind with the quirky ear-worm that is Hollow Life. The LA based duo have crafted a fantastically produced track with unusual percussion and sampling throughout, a catchy chorus, compelling and convincing key-change and a bridge to boot. This fun track is not all silly though, with lyrics exploring the sense of always wanting more. Which ironically is the exact definition of ‘The Post-Modern Self’.
I see what you did there
