So the new James Bond movie just came out. The soundtrack theme by Sam Smith. Only it’s just a shame that New Pharaohs aren’t Sam Smith sized, in terms of bring recognised, because they’ve come up with a song that to me screams James Bond theme. The way This Changes Everything moves so seductively is captivating. The chorus is perfect for a Bond and let’s not leave out the fact that it has this wonderful, rich, dramatic string section which elevates the whole song and without it, this track just wouldn’t be so luscious or enticing. Vocals are equally as seductive, they feel teasing yet melancholic and the guitar riff is striking. I think this is a Bond theme for the next James Bond …. the one they need to write just because of this song, ‘This Changes Everything’. I’m pretty smitten.
