I’ve done it again sorry – sat on a track that I totally love but could never remember who it was buy. Now I’m not even sure how to say this band’s name out loud, Coquin Migale, for fear of getting it wrong and looking foolish but I digress. Luv starts by teasing us, hugely, we wait and then a neat little riff and then bam! Hello! We get thumped by a rush of clattering drums, strutting bass and everything in between. Then it all settles down into a proper dirty strut, with a full on screech of guitar. The vocal is passive aggressive, hauntingly sexual in it’s drawn out whispered drawl. This is a band you need to watch out for.
