Just Listen: Wild Nothing: Reichpop

Wild Nothing

Words: Elena Katrina

I’m not in the habit of comparing bands to other bands, I find it a bit lazy. That being said, if you are missing Bombay Bicycle Club and particularly enjoyed their most recent album, So Long See You Tomorrow, then I don’t think you’d be too disappointed with Bella Union act Wild Nothing and his newest track Reichpop. It offers up an intro which bubbles and twinkles in the most delightful away. The vocals are soft and dreamy, while once the track gets it’s kick, it becomes a jaunt through an exotic intergalactic forest. Yes there are now forests in space. You heard it here first.

Reichpop is taken from Wild Nothing’s forthcoming third album Life Of Pause, released on February 19th on Bella Union.
