annabel jonesThe fabulous Annabel Jones returned recently with her latest track, Happy. You would be forgiven for thinking that, on the face of it, that this is a happy and upbeat song – but no. Annabel has a knack for making twisted and dark tracks which are somewhat sinister because of the ease of vocal and the, at times, very very sugary synth-pop, but it’s all grounded and it’s in that place where I sit and listen. It’s quite a mixture and I find her so intriguing.
