Just Listen: Sundara Karma – Olympia

Sundara Karma

Words: Georgia Mae Blackman

sundara karmaSundara Karma just keep getting better and better. I always have high expectations when they announce new singles – and I’ve never once been disappointed. After signing up for the mailing list and being presented with the live version of their new track Olympia, I was even more excited to hear the mastered version of it.

It starts off with one small, light hearted guitar chord and an innocent drum beat but as the song progresses it becomes catchy, euphoric and exciting. It’s not as fast paced as some of their other singles such as Loveblood and A Young Understanding but it’s still enough to get a crowd moving.

With their ever growing success with constant plays on BBCR1 and Radio X and with their new debut album Youth Is Only Ever Fun In Retrospect, in January, the lovely lads from Reading are taking the world by storm.
