It’s been a long journey for Joe Banfi, now in his reincarnation, with band mates Aaron and Chris, simply known as Banfi. The sound has changed a lot too, from stunning lovelorn wails to uptempo pop-tinged mini anthems like this one. The thing is that there’s still the same intention and themes just presented totally differently. I dare you, also, to go and find a vocal that is quite as distinctive as Joes. It was one of the first things that I adored the first time I saw him play live way back when, it has a bit of a crackle to it that I find so appealing, also, while Rosedale House might not showcase it, the range of his vocal is out of this world.
