Just Listen: Winter’s Island – Fire

Winter’s Island

Words: Nick Bewes

One of the best things about being a music fan is discovering new music and bands. Since getting the new track from London trio Winters Island have become one of my favourites. The new track Fire is like Coldplay, Hurts and Fenech Solar have got together and produced a track together. The song is about hiding behind alter ego’s in life and builds from a simple beginning to a peak with brilliant instrumentation and soaring vocals from Andy Trimmer. It’s taken from their new Hestia EP which is out 7th April and acts as a follow up to their debut single Ares which was released 2 years so it shows the band are prepared to put in the work to make sure what they release is the best it can be.
