If Arctic Monkeys tripped over and got in a tangle with a Marichi band … was my initial thoughts, but it’s much more than that. Red Rum Club have been impressing me (and many others) at various venues in Liverpool for some time now and it’s about time they actually stepped out and claimed what they deserve. With new track Caexico I feel like they could really get a hold on that. It’s unlike much else in my inbox right now, but still has a familiar grounding, which, will no doubt appeal to the masses. That bass line though….. yes!
