Irish indie-pop outfit Orchid Collective have been turning heads in their home country and are now set to release their new single ‘Otherside’ on the 1st June.
Having toured relentlessly across Ireland in 2017, as well as making their debut UK appearance at Y Not festival, the quartet have attracted attention from the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 and Clash.
‘Otherside’ brings a breezy, feel good vibe from the outset as dreamy guitars and percussions lead into an uplifting chorus of vocalist David O Shea insisting “if this is how you wanna die, I’ll see you on the otherside.”
Pretty melodies and dazzling vocal harmonies in abundance, it’s an ideal summer tune that’s perfect for festival season. Building into a shower of whimsical notes, the single finishes on a singular bass riff that just tops the whole thing off perfectly.
A lush, easy-listener that’ll have you grinning from ear to ear.
