Like so many artists, I first heard the brilliant Psychedelic Porn Crumpets on BBC Radio 6 Music, being played by Tom Ravenscroft. At twenty to six in the evening.
Since that moment in the car, I’ve invested in their two albums, ‘High Visceral Part One and Two’ and a mini album of B Sides. And this is a brand new song, so I’m very happy.
They describe themselves as ‘a powerful, melody driven psychedelic rock band from Perth’ and who am I to disagree. ‘My Friends A Liquid’ is their most mainstream track to date which has elements of MGMT & The Temples. It has a repetitive riff that will get stuck in your head and demand repeated plays.
They are touring the UK in February. See you there.
