Just Listen: Ten Eighty Trees – Lip Service

Ten Eighty Trees – Lip Service

Words: Sammy Sadler

I first heard Ten Eighty Trees back in 2018 when I interviewed them for a North East-based magazine and I was instantly hooked by their nostalgic rock and roll vibe.

New single ‘Lip Service’ is another anthemic hit with thick guitar arrangements, explosive drums and foot-stomping beats. Grungy and boisterous with catchy lyrics, it almost reminds me of an American-style genre of alt-rock and I genuinely can’t get enough.

I really love tracks that immediately grab your attention from the get-go and the intro for ‘Lip Service’ definitely packs a punch and wastes no time in launching into the energetic instrumental.

For fans of The Old Pink House, make sure you turn this one up loud.
