Spinn – Believe It or Not

It seems like whilst they’ve been in the studio recording their debut album Spinn have been doing some scientific experiments. Believe It or Not is undoubtedly what occurs if you splice the DNA of The La’s jangly guitar sound with the joyful pop production of The Lightning Seeds. As you can guess the result of this is a gorgeous piece of pop perfection which is just going to make you happy to listen to it repeatedly. It is designed to make you dance, to make you smile, to make you feel all the warm and fuzzy feelings. The harmonies and backing vocals on this release are gorgeous too. Subtle, friendly, and so perfectly pitched that when they have their own segment mid-song you’re actually disappointed when Johnny’s main vocal comes back in so soon. It could turn into a big ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-oh singalong. Roll on the album now!
