Dead Nature: In My Heart

There’s something kinda New York Punk scene about the start of Dead Nature’s debut offering, In My Mind. This is the new project by musical superhero Tarek Musa (he of Spring King fame). The track very quickly takes a turn into a psychedelic Polyphonic Spree-like vocal layering and holy moly even during the very first listen I was already singing along. There’s a joyous lift found in the melody as the track progresses, hear that little yelp of hey?!.. love that. I’ve not felt this excited about a new musical project in a very long time!

In My Mind is the first track to be taken from the debut EP, Taking My Shadow, which will be released later this Summer.
