Liverpool based 4-piece The Post Romantics are back and bigger than ever, packing a punch with hard-hitting new single Ride. Since first listening to debut single Call It Off I’ve been waiting for some fresh sounds from the quartet. My prayers have been answered!
Beginning with an entrancing guitar melody and Connor Cockbain’s velvety vocals as a listener you’re intoxicated instantly. There’s an edgy grit behind this song, which I for one have not heard before and I’m totally here for it.
Compared to their last single Call It Off, Ride is rough around the edges and full of sonic power, yet still grasps the twinkling sounds we know so well. Think The Neighbourhood & Yungblud with a pizzazz of the brilliance that is The Post Romantics.
