Maisie Peters isn’t a name you might associate with Popped Music because, until recently, she wasn’t really on our radar (shocking, we know) but we are thankful that her latest single, John Hughs Movie, has landed in our faces and well we had to share it – summer heart-break vibes all over it. The storytelling in this fun pop track is brilliant and to reference John Hughs is a spark of genius if you ask me. Maisy’s quirky vocals are set to a gently bubbling soundtrack that brings the party, come the chorus.
