The Amazons

As the eye from the Little Something image peers at you, The Amazons launch into the construction of a sheer cliff face of bass. It feels scary, threatening and dangerous. It feels like rock music should. Little Something sounds like it is going to make a lot of money for The Amazons in the future as it is one of those songs that you can imagine fitting into plenty of films and television shows. The band have created a song that even on YouTube with no moving images brings the visceral power of live music into your mind. Just after the two minute mark the bass wall dissipates and everything gets a bit Iggy for thirty seconds. I can already see their home crowd at the Reading Festival going mental for that. This track is not a little something, this is the song that blows people away. This is why we love The Amazons.
