Mute Choir is entirely new to me, in fact, I only just found him floating around out there on the interwebz and as soon as I heard Behind The Bars I knew I needed to get this shared. There’s a really nice mix of scuzzy psychedelia and folk storytelling to be had and I’m a big fan of this when it’s done right. Here, it’s definitely done right, well, right as right can be for me. I love how the track builds and captures attention. How it goes from pretty melodies to something a little more gritty. I’ll stop waffling and let you listen.
