Just Listen: Charlie Cunningham – Don’t Go Far

Charlie Cunningham – Don’t Go Far

Words: Lauren Mellor

On first listen to Don’t Go Far, I was instantly sold. I had barely got half way through the song before I knew I’d already fell in love. Think slow Sunday vibes in a coffee shop and you’ve got yourself the perfect accompanying track with Don’t Go Far.

Charlie Cunningham gives serious Ben Howard vibes with his latest single. There’s a gentle guitar throughout the track which provides a light indie feel and even a slight folk influence. In the last 2 months alone, Cunningham’s racked up 5 million streams and with a new album set for release on June 7th, Don’t Go Far will only help propel his listening figures.

I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album and if it’s anything like this single, then I’m sure it won’t disappoint.
