JUST LISTEN: Luna Bay – Call The Night

Luna Bay – Call The Night

Words: Clare Hingley

The first time I heard this song, immediately Neon Trees song Animal sprang to mind. Catchy from the initial beat, this single keeps you hooked from beginning end.

Luna Bay, made up of O’Mara, Milligan, Ross and Penniston that convened in Chelsea, London, released Call The Night just over a week ago. The upbeat drumming is just as effective as the guitar in this track, if not more so from the off. It really brings the song together and gives it the overall indie/rock feel that is held throughout.

O’Mara has a very distinctive voice and this song fits him perfectly. A fantastic vibe, with gleaming melodies that is sure to get you moving, this is definitely a song I like and I look forward to hearing more from them in the future.

You can see Luna Bay at Scala, London on your at their biggest date so far on 21st November. Go and check them out.
