JUST LISTEN: LIFE – Hollow Thing

LIFE – Hollow Thing

Words: Clare Hingley

So, here it is, LIFE’s new single which has been taken from their second album A Picture Of Good Health. Hollow Thing kicks a punchy start, with this vibe created throughout.

It sounds to me like an 80’s throwback with the assist of potential mosh pits at the ready when this is played live. The energy is pushed from beginning to end and the power of frontman Mez Green’s voice is apparent.

LIFE sold out their recent two-week tour around Europe and one of their next stops is glorious Glastonbury. They are finding their feet and having been on BBC Radio 1’s best album’s of the year with their debut album, it will be interesting to see what heights this song can help take them too.

The song does have potential, with its bold sounds and it’s personal lyrics. They are on tour from July in the UK and their album will be dropping on 20th September, so go check them out.
