I’ve been following Liverpool’s Pizzagirl for what feels like ages now since I fell in love with his artistic soundscapes and DIY-pop so you best believe I’m always on it when he brings out a new track. I’m pleased to report that his latest single ball’s gonna keep on rollin’ has to be one of my favourites to date.
Opening on an array of jingling loops and vintage synths that culminate in an intricate instrumental, it’s four minutes packed with so many 80’s influences that you’ll find it impossible to not hit the repeat button. Think George Michael in the mighty Wham era – how can you possibly go wrong?
