Just Listen: Haarm – Box Of Bones

Haarm

Words: Nick Bewes

Haarm are fast becoming one of my favourite bands. With every release, they surpass what
they have done before. With their latest track Box of Bones, the trio have produced an uptempo
tune with catchy instrumentation while retaining their signature sound with the duel vocals of
Chris McIntosh and Jen Davies – the trio are completed by Olly Gorman. The band have
described the track as a marriage between horror and pop music and the fact that they are all
ABBA fans so wanted a song with as many catchy hooks in. Well I think, after repeated plays,
they have succeeded. And the really good news is that this is the first track to be released from
what will be their debut EP, which is due later this year.
