Fifteen seconds in and All On Black is already making you wonder what direction the song is heading. Joe Murphy’s subtle but sombre vocals play wonders with the guitar riffs and compliments the drum beats perfectly.
I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised the first time I heard this track. Certain moments possess hints of Muse, mainly from the heavy guitar. But I like it and I like it a lot! This foursome from South London have carved individuality with specs of hip hop vibes also thrown in.
Little Grim are certainly making a name for themselves and having All On Black recently debuting on Radio X, BBC Intro London and BBC6 Music, they are getting the recognition this song deserves.
